Kansas City

Published July 20th, 2022

Welcome to Kansas City!

Welcome to Kansas City! Kansas City is growing at a very fast pace and is becoming very modern and “vibey”. While we still have lots of rich history here in KC at places like our Monarchs baseball Museum and The Nelson Atkins Museum or touring our 200 fountains! There are a lot of nice new spots to eat, grab a drink and enjoy the Kansas City night life. So, if you or anyone you know is thinking about moving to Kansas City, here’s why!

Firstly, the barbecue and food just in general. Usually when people think of Kansas City they instantly always think of our barbecue and our famous spots like Kansas City Joe’s, Jack stack, or Arthur Bryant’s. While there are many more barbecue joints around the city those are my top 3! Another amazing spot for the Italian food lovers is Garozzo’s. Located in downtown KC there have been many celebrities that have visited this restaurant including: Patrick Mahomes, Tony Romo, and even Mark Wahlberg! And if you’re not a big fan of barbecue or Italian food, then you could just drive through downtown and stop in at one of the hundreds of restaurants and I’m sure you’ll find something to enjoy.

The second of many reasons you should move here is because Kansas City is the BEST sports town in the U.S. Whether you’re out on a date night at the K watching the Royals play, or you’re with your best buds tailgating at the Chiefs game, there’s never a dull moment. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the Kansas City Chiefs have the LOUDEST stadium in the world at 142.2 decibels! That’s louder than a jet taking off! Even if you’re not a fan of the Chiefs, you have to come catch a game just for the atmosphere and the experience! And if you’re not a fan of football or baseball we even have a soccer team. Sporting KC is a men’s major league soccer team. We even have a women’s team called the KC Current. Come check out one of these sporting events. You won’t regret it!

Lastly, you have to experience the Kansas City night life. Whether that’s going to one of the many jazz clubs and having a relaxing drink, or heading over to the Power and Light district to dance the night away with your friends. The Power and Light district has over 6 different bar and grills to stop in grab a bite to eat and have a casual drink with good company. It also has over 3 different night clubs that you could have the time of your life and make a whole lot of new memories.

There is so much more to Kansas City, and we’re constantly growing. Our museums, food, sports teams, and night life aren’t half of what Kansas City has to offer. Come see for yourself, I promise you won’t want to leave.

Favorite Local Spots

Kansas City isn't your average city.  With the low cost of living and central location, you could easily be fooled into thinking we're a small town.  The truth is we're bigger than Saint Louis, we straddle the MO/KS border, and we've got just as much city as we do cornfields.  From the moonshine in Weston to the craft beer at Boulevard to the Plaza lights, KC has a lot to offer.   Don't judge a book by it's cover and don't judge a city by it's name.  Here are a few of our favorite places to check out.
