⚠️ Wire Fraud Prevention & Spoofing Awareness​

Scam Alert - Caller ID spoofing is on the rise, and unfortunately, many trusted local businesses (ours included) are being affected.

While we do occasionally reach out to internet leads through trusted sources like Realtor.com and Zillow — especially if you’ve inquired about a home — we never call or email to request payment or wiring instructions.

💡 All earnest money, down payments, and closing funds are handled only through your title company or, in some cases such as a rental commissions, our brokerage (RE/MAX Innovations) may accept commission payments in the form of checks.

To protect yourself:

• Never send money based on an unexpected call, text, or email.
• Always verify wiring instructions directly with your title company using a known phone number.
• Certified or cashier’s checks delivered in person are always safest.

If you ever receive a suspicious call or message showing our number, please disregard it and reach out to us directly at 816-945-0670 to confirm.
